RAINBOW VILLAGE

Finding Inspiration anywhere...

In this project, we plan to integrate ICT
tools with innovative learning methods in order to give our teachers and students the motivation they do not have. While
doing this, we will use a teaching technique called "Rainbow Village". According to this technique, we have the following
scenario: Everything in the world is destroyed and everyone who survives has a task: to create an imaginary nature-friendly
world in which they will reflect their cultural identity through common laws, flag, national anthem and election of mayor.
Through this global simulation, students interact to introduce themselves, describe their surroundings, organize their village, and prepare a big task-centered party. While doing all this, we will achieve the following sub-goals as well as realizing the correct and widespread use of ICT tools through activities:

Our students and teachers;
-Will develop language and ICT skills;
- They will have the chance to express themselves creatively outside of the classical classroom environment;
- Understand the necessity of democracy for a high standard of living in an environment where democratic participation will be experienced one-on-one;
- While creating their new identity, they will learn about different cultures and learn to respect these differences;
- In the new order to be created, all activities will be organized with an environmentally friendly approach and green
awareness will be developed;
- Plan interdisciplinary classroom project work as a team and experience the collaborative approach;
-The dropout rate will be reduced from 35% to 25% in a motivated school atmosphere;
Thanks to the different activities to be implemented, we will both increase the use of ICT tools by the participants and
ensure this in an entertaining and interactive environment.
Our communication with partners throughout the project will be via e-twinning, ZOOM, social media platforms. We will
maximize the number of stakeholders benefiting from the creative technique we will use by sharing the teaching outputs on school websites, e-twinning and social media platforms.

Our Story

The criteria that will be the basis for the election of the mayor of Rainbow Village and the general council have been established. These are:

- Kindness and respect;

- Safety first;

- The right to medical service;

- Equality between women and men;

- People with disabilities have equal rights with everyone else;

- Equality between ethnic groups and religions;

- The right to education - everyone must go to school to learn to survive.

The qualities that the mayor must have were also established:

- He must understand everyone's problems;

- To be strong;

- To always look ahead;

- To be intelligent;

- To have empathy.

In this spirit, elections for the mayor were organized in Rainbow Village by the students participating in the project. The result is:

- Maria Balica – mayor - Romania;

Next comes the election of the general council, the procedure that will be carried out online - by voting of all the students who are part of the project teams.

What happened, how they escape and how they discovered Rainbow Village.

In the aftermath of a cataclysmic event that left the world in ruins, survivors were faced

with the daunting task of rebuilding civilization from scratch.

Amidst the chaos and devastation, a glimmer of hope emerged as disparate groups banded together

with a shared vision of creating a nature-friendly utopia that reflected their cultural

identities. Escaping the rubble of their former lives, these resilient souls embarked

on a journey of survival and renewal. With determination in their hearts, they traversed

desolate landscapes, navigating treacherous terrain and overcoming seemingly

insurmountable obstacles.

It was during their arduous journey that they stumbled upon a hidden oasis – Rainbow Village.

Tucked away from the ruins of civilization, this vibrant sanctuary served as a

beacon of inspiration for the weary travelers. As they explored its colorful streets and marveled at its

whimsical murals, they were struck by a profound sense of possibility and optimism. Inspired by the

beauty and resilience of Rainbow Village, the survivors set out to create their own idyllic haven, one that

harmonized with nature and celebrated their diverse cultural heritage. Drawing upon common

values of sustainability and community, they crafted a set of laws that prioritized

environmental stewardship and social harmony. With the foundation laid for their new society,

the survivors came together to design a flag that symbolized their unity and aspirations for a brighter future.

They penned a national anthem that echoed the resilience of their spirit and the beauty of

their surroundings, a melody that would inspire generations to come.

In a democratic election, they chose a mayor to lead them forward, someone who embodied

the ideals of compassion, wisdom, and inclusivity. With Rainbow Village as their

guiding light, the survivors embarked on a journey of rebuilding and renewal,

forging a new world from the ashes of the old

– a world where nature thrived, culture flourished, and hope endured.

Rainbow Village national anthem

In Rainbow Village we stand, colors bright,

Unity in diversity, our guiding light.

With hearts entwined, we proudly sing,

A vibrant chorus, to freedom we cling.

In Rainbow Village's radiant embrace,

Diverse hues blend with grace.

With pride we raise our voices high,

In harmony, our spirits fly.
